My daily work is translating ideas to images and realizing concepts and strategies in visual form, which requires a combination of visual literacy, creative innovation, and project management skill. I’ve been involved with all phases of the creative process, from planning to design to implementation and have worked for a diverse range of clients over the years. Feel free to call with questions you may have or to discuss how I may be able to help you with your project needs.

Bio:

Darren’s father was an advertising photographer in New York in the 1950’s and Darren grew up assisting him and learned print making and film development in the home dark room. However, it wasn’t until finishing college with a degree in English did he fully realize his passion for photography and embarked on a photographic career. He got his start shooting fashion catalogs through the large production agencies in New York and over the years has taken on a wide range of photographic projects; traveling extensively, photographing on location and in studio for clients such as, Publicis, KMS hair products, Bedford Fair catalog, Red Robin restaurants, Hershy Communications, and SKYY Spirits.ramparts

When Darren is not producing images for his clients you can usually find him soaring the skies of the Pacific Northwest. Recently The United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association presented Darren with the Bettina Gray Award in recognition of outstanding photographic contributions that have significantly enhanced and promoted the sports of Hang Gliding and Paragliding in the United States.
